Cracking Your Histamine Code

A two part master class series empowering you to navigate histamine’s shifting terrain from a female bodied perspective.

Sunday June 14th & June 28th 11am PST, Recordings Available

You’ve made the histamine connection, now what?

As Women we’ve largely been left to put the pieces together ourselves— that our insomnia, anxiety, cyclical mood fluctuations and sudden food intolerance (I personally become allergic to my jewelry once a month) may be related to histamine. Good to know!

Yet so many Women who’ve tried low histamine diets have only found temporary relief, or are frustrated that what once worked for their symptoms is no longer helping.

Histamine is not a static molecule, but an ever changing signal that responds in real time to your internal and external environment: nutrient status, mineral balance, gut integrity, epigenetic expression, perception of stress and environmental exposure. As Women, it’s important to note that histamine has a relationship to estrogen, progesterone and prostaglandins as well, all which fluctuate and influence our histamine tolerance cyclically.

This series will teach you how to read your body’s histamine’s ecology, so you can decode and support your shifting terrain instead of being overwhelmed or confused by it.

In this two part series, we cut straight through the health noise and hot takes, using evidenced- based science and real world case studies to help you recognize and support the many variables impacting your histamine levels in real time.

You’ll receive class recordings, a print out histamine PDF cheat sheet, and the opportunity to submit a question to our live Q & A session.

Course Overview

Module I Histamine Foundations

  • Mapping histamine’s physiological pathways through the body’s systems.

  • Understanding histamine load vs. histamine clearance framework.

  • The challenge distinguishing allergies from histamine intolerance vs. mast cell hyper-sensitivity syndrome.

  • Psycho-cellular signs and symptoms of high histamine load, and uncommon presentations.

  • How Women’s cyclical and lifespan ecology interacts with histamine load and sensitivity.

  • The intersection of PMDD, hormone hypersensitivity, endometriosis, and other “pathologies.”

  • Mapping the epigenetic field, relevant genes and common SNPs affecting histamine physiology.

  • The nervous system, early childhood trauma, and histamine- the DHEA / HPA connection.

  • What to ask your allergist, what blood panels and functional tests are useful.

Module II Case Studies

We’ll apply the foundational knowledge gleaned in module one to explore real world case studies as an exercise to better understand how histamine stacking, internal and external variables can drive symptoms in real time. You will be invited to participate! These explorations will empower you to recognize and support your unique terrain, so the interventions you chose will speak to the pathways that may be impacting your symptoms, so they will actually work. We will discuss what functional medicine tests, food and supplement supports are helpful for different roots of high histamine levels.

Through case studies, we’ll explore:

Mapping Your Terrain & Targeted Supports

  • Specific examples of how the gut microbial, mineral, and hormone dimensions impact histamine, and how to test.

  • Potential environmental, and epigenetic triggers for histamine intolerance.

  • Specific histamine supports (food, herb, supplemental) for different terrain types and roots of histamine load.

  • A histamine cheat sheet for identifying and managing flares.

All classes are recorded and emailed after they are delivered live. We will save time for a Q & A session at the completion of the series.
